Checkmate Property Group was founded by Stanford Roberts who was born in Wilson NC and currently resides in the Wake County area. He is passionate about helping people with real estate problems find solutions while providing them with professionalism, integrity, and honesty.
Stanford holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Business Management and Finance from North Carolina Central University. As a former mortgage auditor for 8 years Stanford understands the importance of listening to homeowners and will work hard to make their real estate transaction process efficient, smooth and as pleasant as possible.
He has been involved in real estate for the past 5 years as an investor, specializing in residential and commercial in the Raleigh, Durham, Zebulon, Wendell, Wilson and Rocky Mount NC areas.
Stanford is passionate about community involvement and enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends. He also enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants and sporting events.
